Write A Letter This Christmas Season!

As an adult I do not write letters to Santa Claus anymore. I also don’t write Christmas letters. Instead I write a letter to myself. I sum up the year and make plans and promises for the next year. It has recently came to my attention, through a writing forum, that a writer should write a letter about their book to a trusted friend and then never send it. Doing this helps develope the story arc. I don’t know if this works. Anyway, this holiday season I will write myself a letter and also write a friend a letter that will never be read by anyone but me. I ask you, my fellow writers and readers to join me. Who knows, our letters might develope a better narrative in our lives next year.
